More new equipment donated by League to Ludlow Hospital
Paul Mason, the Minor Injuries Unit Lead at Ludlow Hospital, is delighted to receive the latest new equipment funded by the League of Friends..
The League delivered a new, high spec ECG machine to monitor a patient’s heart activity and also an observation machine which measures a patient’s blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels and respirations. This observation machine is an addition to the fleet of monitors on Dinham ward which have already been funded by the League.
Both machines are of a very high specification and will prove invaluable in the Unit to enhance the staff’s ability to provide top quality care to the patients.
Jennifer Gill, Co-Chair of the League, states that ‘the League is delighted once again to fund vital equipment for patient services at our local hospital. The Minor Injuries Unit plays such an important role in the wellbeing of South Shropshire’s residents’.
