Ludlow Hospital League of Friends gives £25,000 to Severn Hospice

The League of Friends of Ludlow Hospital has presented a donation of £25,000 to Severn Hospice in recognition of the considerable and greatly valued work the hospice undertakes for patients in Ludlow and across the South Shropshire community.
Michael Evans, a Trustee of the League of Friends of Ludlow Hospital, said: “Severn Hospice treats many patients from our community, both in their own homes and at the hospice itself. We are very pleased to be able to support this important work. The hospice relies so much on worthy charitable support, and we know how much its care is valued by families across Ludlow and South Shropshire.”
The donation reflects the League of Friends’ continuing commitment to supporting healthcare and wellbeing for the benefit of people in Ludlow and the surrounding area.
The League of Friends of Ludlow Hospital raises funds to support services and facilities that make a positive difference to patients, staff and visitors, and to help strengthen local healthcare provision both within the hospital and throughout the local community.
