The Ludlow Bed Push

The Ludlow Bed Push event on the first of July is a major event for our charity, when Mark Hiles and his team, dressed in appropriate costumes, tour the town collecting on our behalf.

Thanks also to our volunteer helpers in our gazebo in Castle Square on that day who meet and greet everyone on our behalf.

Last year an incredible £3500 was raised towards the purchase of bedside cabinets for the Hospital.

We’re so excited to be able to don our uniforms once again and collect vital funds on behalf of the League of Friends of Ludlow Hospital.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you all out and about in town today, Saturday 1st July. Raid the back of the sofa, coat pockets, the cup holder in the car as we appreciate anything you can donate – big or small.

The team will be scattered throughout town so go and say hi, donate and get your sticker. Take a photo and tag us so we can collect pics for our social media.

The League of Friends will have a stand on the events square so again, please go and say hi and find out about the incredible work this team of volunteers does to help our fantastic community hospital.

We know not everyone will be able to make it today which is why we now have an online donation page. Please give whatever you can as it all makes a massive difference. Click the button below to donate!

The bed push is one of the main sources of income for the League of Friends so we will be looking to host other events in the future, which we will announce on this page.

Thank you all so much for your continued support,
Sister Mark Hiles and the Bed Push Nurses
