Cath Euden, Administration Manager, says:
‘Last year, the League of Friends very generously funded five heart monitors/patient vital sign monitors, which have been instrumental in our day-to-day operations. The recent addition of four more monitors has significantly bolstered our fleet. This expansion has not only allowed us to totally replace all of our older stock, which had deteriorated and become obsolete, but it has also ensured that we have a sufficient number of reliable, up-to-date monitors at all times.
These monitors are incredibly valuable as they measure a patient’s blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and respirations. The ward team has found them to be both easy and practical to use, which greatly enhances our ability to provide high-quality care to our patients’.

Christmas presents for the dialysis patients, donated by Tesco, and given to the Renal Dialysis Unit with the League’s Jen Walker and Sara Cuadros, Ward Sister.

Gifts for Dinham Ward patients with Jennifer Gill, Co-Chair, and Jen Walker, League of Friends, along with Amanda and Gemma, Health Care Assistants.
The League has also provided gifts of sweets for the nursing staff.
